And I failed the IQ test--that wasn't meant to be a public comment (but that's okay).

Loved the book! Thanks for writing it! I haven't read a great book in a long time and I had forgotten what it felt like to read something this good. Perfect way to start of the new year because I had just resolved to get more of a sense of magic back into my life (jobs tend to suck that out of you--even good ones) when I picked up this book (it was a gift from my wife who always manages to find better books for me than I do for myself).

One question. You mention Murakami's Dance Dance Dance in the beginning (my favorite writer) and a few other books. Was this a way to sneak in your favorites by any chance? (There was one or two listed there that I hadn't read and I'm considering checking them out).
